When I was in school I was often bullied for being a "big girl." I didn't adhere to people's standards of beauty, and when it started to become obvious that I was queer, the bullying became even worse.

When I discovered Steven Universe and saw Garnet, and saw that she was the embodiment of queer relationship, and a "big" girl … I cried, and she has always been in my heart, and now, on my arm!
